The Swedish Society for Flow Cytometry (SFFF) is pleased to announce its upcoming two-day conference. This year, the event will take place at Linköping University Hospital on May 5-6, 2026. We warmly invite everyone to attend and look forward to your participation.

The Swedish Society for Flow Cytometry (SFFF), established on December 1, 1994, is dedicated to advancing research, education, and innovation in flow cytometry and related fields. Our upcoming conference aims to promote dialogue among researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals.

Flow cytometry themes in focus this time are:

Frontiers in Flow Cytometry – small particles/cells and large reagent panels in research and clinic
Flow cytometry on particles/cells like extracellular vesicles, bacteria, aquatic organisms, platelets
Automation in experimentation and data analysis – opportunities and pitfalls
Automated workflows: successful implementation as well as cases that illuminate pitfalls and how to handle them.
Flow Cytometry lab management – lab safety
Management of biological and chemical risks in flow cytometry with a Swedish focus

Poster Session
We invite you to create a poster that presents:
• Where you work, (your collaborators) and your role
• Anything special you would like to highlight, for example: your core facility/clinical lab, a method, a project, a new tool, or an idea you are testing/developing
The purpose is to promote communication and networking, share knowledge and inspire each other. The poster does not need to be advanced, the most important thing is to give a short and clear picture of your work and innovations.

Participation fee
Registration before or on April 5 is 2 900 SEK. Registration after April 5 is 3 400 SEK. This includes coffee breaks, lunches, a dinner event, and social activities over the two days.

We kindly ask for your help in spreading the word about the meeting to others who might be interested in flow cytometry. Attached, you will find a flyer and program that we would appreciate if you could post at your workplace.

Payment Terms: Payment is due within 30 days of invoicing. Invoices will be sent out continuously upon new registrations. A reminder fee of 200 SEK will be added for overdue invoices. Cancellations can be made until April 5, 2026. A handling fee of 500 SEK will be charged for all cancellations. For cancellations after April 5, 2026, the full fee will be charged. The personal conference ticket can be transferred to another person from the same workplace/clinic.

Eftersom vi har hört från flera håll att möjligheter för tjänsteresor och konferensdeltagande är mycket begränsade för våra medlemmar på grund av besparingar i år har vi bestämt att SFFFs årsmöte 2024 ska hållas online i höst. Mer information kommer snart.
